Interesting stuff on the web is what I have read through out the week. I read a lot of articles and there is always a few that I feel is worth you reading.   1. Steve, thanks a lot for mentioning about my post. The article “13 Tips for Canadians Who Want to Retire in the USA/Slice” has a lot of good information. I like the concept of “Canadian Snowbird Association”. It helps people to share the information and make the right call for themselves.

      I am not a member of the Canadian Snowbird Association (Yet) but they do have lots of good information, and a list of best places for insurance, exchange rates and informative articles.

      I agree Warren Buffet is an icon in Value investing that has made many people millions of dollars. I try to read all of his quotes and watch his interviews, he certainly has lots of wisdom

    Thanks for the retiring in the US link too, very interesting stuff. Spending 6 months here and 6 months in US sounds very appealing. There are a lot of snowbirds in Palm Springs when I was there last year. I wouldn’t mind being a snowbird but at some point it will be difficult to fly regularly.

      That’s why we want to FIRE so we can fly for as many years as possible (before we can’t). We where in Palm springs and Arizona last February and a ton of snowbirds live the winter down in the dessert. I would like too try different locations every winter for the first few years of retirement.
