Canadian real estate market outlook 2018/MoneySenseThere’s never a dull day in real estate. Last year started off with a big nervous question: Will the Canadian housing market crash? In 2018, the new year started off with more of a sigh. Analysts across North America came out with various pronouncements of deceleration in activity and pricing, but the overwhelming consensus was that the nation’s real estate landscape would flatten out, even in the hot Toronto and Vancouver markets.”

Investing in cryptocurrency seems too easy/Time in the Market “I heard about it years ago but never gave it much thought until this year. • Hi Tom, most forecast I have been reading are fairly bullish. I have been watching the bond market as that might be the place where issue show up first. 2018 could be an interesting year.

    • Hi Caroline, I have been reading lots of articles on Canadian real estate and I have no clue what prices will be. I am always suspicious when governments put in regulations, stress test and taxes. Government regulation are usually late to the party and can do a lot of damage.

    • You are welcome. I hope everybody reads Investing in cryptocurrency seems too easy, it is a good article. Have a good weekend.

  1. I love how you usually have a travel post first.

Love it! That list is great.

I loved Laos. I love love Nepal, one of my favourite countries, loved Morocco (except for when the men would say “How many camels for you? You, 10,000 camels!”), loved Bolivia too and the Salar De Uyuni.

    I miss traveling 🙁

I’m going to Mexico (although to a resort and to Tijuana) this year as consolation to traveling with a baby.

    • Hey GYM,
From October to April all I think about is travel, so you will have a few more post with travel as the first link. In the spring thru fall we do a lot of Rving so that helps get rid of the travel bug. Have a great time in Mexico, I am leaving for Mexico tomorrow morning for a week.

    • Thanks Enoch, I am really looking forward to Mexico. Victoria has been raining for last couple weeks and Puerto Vallarta is 26 and sunny.

  2. Great list up there Steve. I agree compounding is your Best Friend. There is nothing like Snow ball effect, it may be slow but when it turns big nothing can stop coming along the way :).

Let’s keep that snow ball rolling.

    Good Luck.
